Applications of repeat degree on coverings of neighborhoods

چکیده
In covering based rough sets, the neighborhood of an element is the intersection of all the covering blocks containing the element. All the neighborhoods form a new covering called a covering of neighborhoods. In the course of studying under what condition a covering of neighborhoods is a partition, the concept of repeat degree is proposed, with the help of which the issue is addressed. This paper studies further the application of repeat degree on coverings of neighborhoods. First, we investigate under what condition a covering of neighborhoods is the reduct of the covering inducing it. As a preparation for addressing this issue, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for a subset of a set family to be the reduct of the set family. Then we study under what condition two coverings induce a same relation and a same covering of neighborhoods. Finally, we give the method of calculating the covering according to repeat degree.

Covering rough sets based on neighborhoods: An approach without using neighborhoods
Rough set theory, a mathematical tool to deal with inexact or uncertain knowledge in information systems, has originally described the indiscernibility of elements by equivalence relations. Covering rough sets are a natural extension of classical rough sets by relaxing the partitions arising from equivalence relations to coverings. Recently, some topological concepts such as neighborhood have b...
متن کاملALGEBRAS WITH CYCLE-FINITE STRONGLY SIMPLY CONNECTED GALOIS COVERINGS
Let $A$ be a nite dimensional $k-$algebra and $R$ be a locally bounded category such that $R rightarrow R/G = A$ is a Galois covering dened by the action of a torsion-free group of automorphisms of $R$. Following [30], we provide criteria on the convex subcategories of a strongly simply connected category R in order to be a cycle- nite category and describe the module category of $A$. We p...
متن کاملOn subgroups of topologized fundamental groups and generalized coverings
In this paper, we are interested in studying subgroups of topologized fundamental groups and their influences on generalized covering maps. More precisely, we find some relationships between generalized covering subgroups and the other famous subgroups of the fundamental group equipped with the compact-open topology and the whisker topology. Moreover, we present some conditions unde...
متن کاملOn category of co-coverings
In this article, we introduce the concept of co-covering which is the dual of covering concept. Then, we prove several theorems being similar to the theorems that have been de-veloped for the covering concept. For example, we provide the lifting criterion for co-coverings of a topological space X, which helps us to classify them by subgroups of the group of all homeomorphisms of X.
متن کاملAnalyzing Relationship between Urban Form and Disaster Resilience at Tehran Metropolis Neighborhoods
While it has been only two decades since resilience as a concept entered the field of urban planning, there has been an increasing interests and a wide range of studies surrounding the issue in this short span of time. Considering this fact, surprisingly a few passionate endeavors have attempted to assess "urban resilient form" as the subject, while urban form as the structure of the city can d...
